{"id":693,"date":"2019-05-21T16:15:28","date_gmt":"2019-05-21T20:15:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hometowneautorepairandtireofwoodbridge.com\/blog\/?p=693"},"modified":"2023-01-11T15:56:30","modified_gmt":"2023-01-11T20:56:30","slug":"business-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hometowneautorepairandtireofwoodbridge.com\/blog\/business-community\/","title":{"rendered":"HomeTowne Auto Repair supports local business, community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two area businesses are supporting their community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HomeTowne Auto Repair &amp; Tire recently purchased a meal package at a Boys &amp; Girls Club fundraiser. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/mybbqman.com\/\"><b>Dyvine BBQ in Motion<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> donated the food.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOne thing that\u2019s very important that I\u2019m a big believer in is supporting businesses that support our community,\u201d HomeTowne Auto Repair &amp; Tire Owner ST Billingsley said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He encourages others to consider doing the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhen you see these fundraisers or you go to them, pay attention to who\u2019s supporting those organizations and please support those businesses,\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Billingsley <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dyvine BBQ in Motion Owner Derrick Wood brought the meal to HomeTowne Auto Repair &amp; Tire on Friday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wood, who also serves as the Mayor of Dumfries, contributes to Boys &amp; Girls Club fundraisers because the organization gives children an outlet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He appreciates businesses and individuals who purchase the packages. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe money actually goes to get these kids off the streets to get them recreational programming and to actually help develop and stimulate them for a lasting lifetime, to build better citizens in this community,\u201d Wood said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HomeTowne Auto Repair &amp; Tire is an authorized Michelin and BFGoodrich tire dealer located in Woodbridge, Virginia.
