HomeTowne Auto Repair and Tire employees visited the Tank Farm in Nokesville this past weekend.

The Americans in Wartime Experience uses this property for its annual Tank Farm Open House.

On Sunday, we were able to hold a Tank Farm Day for our staff members and their loved ones.

Family Day participants received a tour of the property and rode on an armored personnel carrier. Food from Mission BBQ in Woodbridge was provided, as well.

Those taking a tour check out military vehicles.

“It was great getting together with our co-workers and meeting family members,” Marketing Director Erin Jones said. “We really appreciate the Americans in Wartime Experience allowing us to host Tank Farm Day.”

We would also like to give a special shout out to Mary Hooker and Latajia Carthens from Mission BBQ for helping us put this event together.

Community members will be able to see the Americans in Wartime Experience’s military vehicle collection at the 2023 Tank Farm Open House. The event is taking place at 13906 Aden Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 26 and 27.
